Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple

This temple is not easy to spot within Johor skylines, but Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman is Malaysia and probably the world one and only glass temple. Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman temple started as humble as small hut structure dating back to earliest 1922, but only come to alive since 1991. In 2008, Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman temple was updated with all-glass mosaic, finished a year later and entered into spotlight famous among local and foreign tourist.

The entire interior Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman glass temple is covered in no less than 300,000 various colored pieces of glass mosaic, glass beads, statues and more. All imported from imported from Myanmar and Thailand. It most appealing feature though is an installation of various cross-religion statues of Jesus Christ, Gautama Buddha, Mother Theresa among the temple's Hindu idols. Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman signifies tolerance for other religions and has impressed many temple visitors in Johor Bahru.
